The underserved population in the geographies where we operate rely on subpar care, which adversely affects their long-term health. They are compelled to travel long distances to access quality primary healthcare services. As a result they incur significantly higher costs than they can afford.
The Solution
At ValueMomentum, we wanted to approach this problem keeping a long-term vision, rather than considering it as a short-term concern. Our vision is to strengthen the healthcare delivery channels by creating self-sustaining primary care setups in the chosen underserved locations
Our Partner Program Initiatives
Collaborating with United Way Hyderabad (UWH) to Set Up Primary Care Clinic
In our pursuit to achieve the goals of our Healthcare Success Partner Program, we are collaborating with a volunteer-led, non-profit organization, United Way of Hyderabad (UWH) to empower the healthcare delivery channels to provide the best technology-enabled primary patient care in the underserved areas and created a cadre of doctors with the right skills, attitude, and empathy to change the face of primary health care delivery in the underserved locations.
ValueMomentum Vision Center – Making Eye Care Accessible to the Rural Population
In collaboration with L V Prasad Eye Hospital, we set up a Vision Center in one of the villages in the district of Moinabad, Telangana. The main aim of the eye care project was to bring quality eye care services within the reach of the underserved communities.
The vision center is equipped with modern technologies and provides eye care services such as vision assessment, refraction, anterior segment examinations, remote teleophthalmology, and others.
