-
The Customer sought to reclaim all of business rules driving the GTS application and implement those as part of a re-platformed application built on a best-in-breed Business Rules Engine.
- The Reclaimed functionality would communicate with the non, replatformed elements of the application using MQ
- Key deliverables included:
- Studied the automation requirements for the module (Driver timecard for GTS) and prepare specifications.
- From the above experience, estimated the effort that would be needed for automation across all the modules in GTS.
- End-to-end implementation of the projects
- Business Modeling to evolve a repeatable process map that drives the Customer's GTS operations
- Rules Accumulation by interacting with business users, referring to policy documents, conducting workshop sessions, mining legacy applications
- Requirements Analysis to build a “Buildable” design that could be developed and deployed in a Business Rules Engine (BRE)
- Design, development and deployment of the reclaimed functionality on the BRE platform.
