- Our Client sought to sell supplemental health products via the Internet.
- The Client adopted a Customer-centric sales process that aimed at intelligent Customer information capture for drill-down questioning for needs analysis, interfacing with several information providers to obtain data for analysis of eligibility, product suitability and price. Also important was the need to display customized content and messages to Customer during the Sales process.
- The information captured either from the Customer or from the information providers had to be stored for future retrieval even if the Customer has not purchased the product.

- ValueMomentum was responsible for the end-to-end implementation of this project. ValueMomentum partnered with the Customer by leveraging SOA and decision services development expertise to realize a forward looking architecture which would serve as a foundation for future IT initiatives.
- The responsibilities handled by ValueMomentum included:
- ValueMomentum co-led requirements gathering activities with the Client and the design, development and deployment of the system.
- A prototype was built upfront to demonstrate the viability and performance capability of the system
- Interactive customer needs analysis and related information capture is very rules intensive involving capture and analysis from one step and displaying the next set of questions using drill down process.
- Interfaces were developed with several external and internal information vendors and applications
- Interfaces were also developed for credit card and bank
- The design was optimized and implemented based on feedback
